Instead, our adapter now gives you the ability to use the ever popular Military version of this filter, namely, the MSR Inline Micro Filter, at a very reduced price (see our other listings for our adapters and filters.) The reverse is true also for consumers who have a SOURCE (military) or other brand of hydration pack (or a hydration pack that has already been converted to accept these filters) that only accepts the MSR brand filter.
